The Combat Support Ship in Galați recently received an important visitor: Commodore Harold Boekholt, Director of Projects at Command Materiel & IT (COMMIT) stopped by to visit the ship and discuss the project’s progress. Together with Project Director Arjan Risseeuw and his team, they discussed the new schedule  for the sea trials and handover.

Commodore Boekholt was joined by COMMIT colleagues Joost Meester, Project Manager CSS, and André van der Kamp, Head of Maritime Projects. “We jointly toured the ship, and he was very impressed,” says Arjan.

The CSS will now come to Vlissingen in the third quarter and will be handed over to COMMIT at the end of this year after a final commissioning period.
