On the last Wednesday of February, the first End-of-Month Drinks in years took place. In 2020, the monthly meetings were suspended due to the corona pandemic, and General Manager Roland Briene is happy that the get-together could finally take place again. “It is a good opportunity to discuss important ongoing issues in the company in an informal way and get to know your colleagues better,” he said.

Several members of the MT were present, and Roland gave a brief welcome speech in which he promised to find a way to also include the Damen Naval sites in Vlissingen-Oost and Schiedam. He further discussed developments around the ASW frigate project and Time for Change. From now on, the End-of-Month Drinks will be held on the last Wednesday of every month. Everyone is welcome in the cafeteria of the Head Office from 16.30h to 18.00h.
