Damen Schelde Marine Services’ Singapore team has moved into new offices. “This new location not only offers better amenities for our staff, making it a more enjoyable workplace for everyone, but it is also closer to our clients,” says DSMS Commercial Manager Asia Ezra Lamers. “We look forward to this new chapter and the opportunities it brings!”
Besides its head office in Vlissingen, Damen Schelde Marine Services has operated an office in Singapore since 2000. During that time the company was active with other names, including STORK Service Maritime Asia, until 2013 since it has been known as Damen Schelde Marine Services Pte Ltd.
DSMS made the decision to relocate to a more centrally located and modern office space in September last year, having worked out of its former office since 2007. This reason for the move was to offer better service to its clients, and to provide a more comfortable workplace for its personnel.

Supported by the team in Singapore, Ezra represents DSMS to clients across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, a role he has been doing for almost ten years. “From my position at the Vlissingen office in the Netherlands, I have managed a dedicated team focused on providing swift service and high-quality products to our ever-growing client base,” he says. “In addition, the Vlissingen office supports the Singapore team: after Singapore office hours, for example, which is essential to better serve the Asian market. Combining this with our European management approach creates a win-win situation that enhances our service levels for our clients.”
Talking after the official opening of the new office, DSMS Managing Director Arnold Suykerbuyk added, “I am proud of the dedication and determination of our Singapore team. After some difficult years, we have found our way up to increasing growth over the past six years, resulting in a record-breaking turnover in 2024. The ‘cherry on top’ was opening a new office to serve our Asia-Pacific and Middle East customer base.”

Damien Goh
“I’ve been with the company for five years as a Sales Manager. My primary focus is on supporting and expanding our customer base across Asia. I strive to understand our clients’ requirements and provide compatible spare parts at competitive prices with timely delivery to ensure their operations run smoothly. Collaborating closely with our teams, I work to deliver reliable products and exceptional service to our customers.”
Mazni Mansoor
“I’ve been part of the company since 1995. Over the years, I’ve held various roles, beginning as a Sales Coordinator managing sales readiness, issuing purchase orders to suppliers, and organising shipping arrangements. In my current role as Senior Sales and Logistics Executive, I handle quotations, follow up on orders, and coordinate both incoming and outgoing shipments. I work closely with customers and agents to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.”
Candy Chia
“I’ve been with the company for just over a year, working primarily in indoor sales support. My role involves managing customer inquiries and overseeing order fulfilment. I focus on serving customers in Singapore and other Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.”
Joleen Lee
“I’ve been with the company for 23 years. My responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, invoicing, and preparing financial reports. I also handle other financial matters to support the company’s operations.”
Wilson Garnell
“I have been with the company for two years as a Sales & Technical Service Executive. My goal is to provide high-quality service and spare parts to our clients. I strive to understand and adapt to the intricacies of diesel engines, including both 2-stroke and 4-stroke models. With the support of our team management, we work together like a family to foster strong relationships.
